Do I need to register children in strollers? No.

Are children under 3 free? Yes. There is no need to register children under 3 or children in strollers. However, if you would like your little one to have a bib and an official time you will need to register and pay for them. The cheapest way to do this is to register them in the family registration.

Can my child run on their own? Yes. If your child is a confident runner and you are happy for them to race without an adult then you do not need to register for the event as well. Please note that whilst there are course marshals to direct runners they will not be responsible for supervising children.

Why are there entry fees for a community fun run? We have done our best to keep the entry fees as low as possible. Our event is completely run by volunteers. However, we need to cover the substantial costs of full road closures, RMS staff, bibs and timing chips and event insurance. Our event is also a fundraiser.

Can I enter more than one person on the individual entry link? Yes you can. Once you have entered the registration details and gone through to the cart you can select ‘register another’.

Can family members run different distances under the ‘family’ entry? Yes they can. When you click on the family registration link you will see that you are able to select a different event distance for each family member.

Can I enter the 2km and either the 10km or the 5km event? Yes you can. However, you will need to pay to register for both events. You can select to pay an additional $5 on top of your 10km or 5km event.

I missed the online entry. Can I still register? Yes. Late entry can be completed at bib pick up at Lane Cove Public School, outside the hall on:

  • Friday, September 8th from 6pm until 8pm
  • Saturday, September 9th from 11am until 1pm

Or on race day. Please download the Late Entry Form

Is the course certified? No. We have made our courses as close to the advertised distance as possible.

Can I run with my dog? Yes, well behaved dogs on leash are most welcome in wave 2 of the 2km event only. Participant safety is our utmost priority and dogs will not be permitted in the 10km, 5km or as part of wave 1 of the 2km events. Please keep your dog on a leash at the oval at all times until the breakfast stalls are packed away.

Can children ride bikes or scooters? No. Participant safety is our utmost priority. However, if you arrive early you can take advantage of the car free streets from 6:30am!

Will there be somewhere safe to leave my belongings while I run. There is free bag storage provided in the top of the grandstand. Please don’t leave valuables at the free bag storage. We will take good care of your belongings but valuables are your responsibility.
